My natural-light portrait studio is located in Social Circle, GA. We built our home in 2017, and I specifically designed my studio above the garage to be a peaceful place where families can come for an indoor portrait option. The over 420 square-foot studio space features simple white walls, white floors, and many options for posing your family or little ones. The simple backdrop allows for beautiful portraits that really put all the focus on you and your loved ones!

There are so many reasons why a studio portrait session may be the best option for your family! You don't have to worry about the weather. If it's too hot, cold, or rainy, its a great place for natural-light portraits. You don't have to worry about making your house "photo ready." You don't have to worry about wrangling a toddler in a crowded park. The Katey Penton Photography Studio is the perfect place to come for simple portraits that you will love.

I know sometimes it can be hard to find cute and affordable clothes for your little one for their portrait session. You want something cute and unique! I now offer some adorable little outfits that you are welcome to use for your baby when you book a studio portrait session! Most outfits fit babies between 6 and 18 months old, with options for both boys and girls.

The studio offers an inviting setting with a restroom as well as comfortable seating, a changing table, and water bottles. The wall-to-wall windows and white walls + floors offers a stunning backdrop for all sessions, ranging from newborn to maternity to milestone baby sessions.

Yes and no! It really depends on what type of session you are having. The photography studio contains several posing items such as chairs and stools. I also offer a limited wardrobe for 6-18 month old children, which you are welcome to use! For maternity and family sessions, just bring your smiling faces. For cake-smash sessions, you will need to provide the cake and any extra props or balloons. If you have something specific in mind, let me know and I can see if I have anything in my studio already that could add to your vision for your session!

ARE WE ABLE TO DO ANY OUTSIDE PORTRAITS WHEN WE COME FOR A STUDIO SESSION?

Yes, of course! The studio is located on 5 acres here in Social Circle, GA with a variety of sceneries including woods, fields, and a stream. For family or baby sessions, I often encourage families to take a couple of outdoor portraits to add variety to your gallery, weather permitting of course.

Studio portrait sessions last one hour. I schedule studio sessions Monday through Saturday, but my Saturdays can book up 6 months out! Sessions can be booked for most any time of day, but if you are wanting outdoor portraits as well, it is best to book in the morning or late in the afternoon/evening.
