Yes! I do photograph large families. I come from a large family myself (1 of 9 kids) and think it is so important to capture extended family portraits. The Family Portrait Session includes up to 6 people, and if you are wanting more than that, please contact me for a custom quote!

DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH LARGE FAMILIES?

You will receive 40+ images from your session. It can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to receive your edited images and online gallery, depending on the season and how many sessions are on my schedule. If you are needing your images back by a certain date, make sure to let me know and we can schedule your session accordingly!

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY GALLERY?

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE FOR FAMILY PORTRAITS?

I love to capture natural interactions with you and your family. I will do the posed, everyone smiling at the camera pictures, but we will also mix in some fun candid stuff, so that we can really capture who your family is!

WHEN DO YOU SCHEDULE SESSIONS?

I normally schedule sessions Monday through Saturday. Sundays are the one day of the week that I don't schedule sessions. My weekends are often booked up to 6 months out, so if you are wanting a weekend session, make sure to book in advance. Lighting for sessions is best in the morning or late afternoon/evening.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR FOR OUR PORTRAIT SESSION?

You want to coordinate outfits so that they go together, but aren’t too matchy matchy. I don't recommending wearing all white or all black. It's okay to wear fun colors and patterns. Layers and fun accessories are great, too! Most importantly, dress to match your style! The whole purpose of the session is to capture you, so wear what makes you feel amazing.

Katey Penton has been taking photos of our family since 2014, when our son was only a few days old. She is phenomenal with kids and has a calming affect on everyone, especially babies.
