THE NEWBORN EXPERIENCE

Whether this is your first or your fourth, you have come to the right place. It is so important to trust someone who has lots of experience photographing newborns. I have photographed hundreds of newborns over the last 10 years.

I can't wait to come to your home and capture every little detail of your sweet little newborn. I offer both lifestyle and posed newborn portraits all in one session. I will bring all of the sweet little wraps, hats, and bows to pose your baby in all those squishy poses. Then we can capture some laid-back lifestyle portraits of you cuddling with your baby in the nursery and your favorite spots at home.

I have a very simple and sweet style. I have been photogrpahing newborns for 10 years now, so I have seen all kinds of trends come and go. I like to capture timeless photographs of your baby, that you will be able to treasure for years to come! I do provide simple wraps, bows/hats, and outfits for the posed portion of newborn sessions. Simpler is always better!

DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS?

It really is best to book your session as soon as you are able. Some moms book their sessions as early as 14 weeks! I only take a certain number of newborn sessions a month, so it is best to get you due date on my calendar as soon as you can.

WHEN IS IT BEST TO BOOK MY NEWBORN SESSION?

I edit every picture that you receive in your gallery. It normally takes 2-3 weeks for you to receive your gallery after your session. During peak seasons like spring and fall/Christmas, it can take up to 4 weeks. It will be well worth the wait!

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PHOTOS AFTER THE SESSION?

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR NEWBORN SESSIONS?

Yes, I do travel for newborn sessions. I am located in Social Circle, GA and travel anywhere within 40 miles of my home studio. If you are located outside of my travel range, I can still come to your home for a newborn session. There will just be a small travel fee added on to your session price.

Yes, I do offer studio newborn sessions. My natural-light studio is located in Social Circle, GA and is perfect for newborn sessions. I provide all of the props, and you just come with your new baby and I will take care of the rest.

HOW LONG DO NEWBORN SESSIONS NORMALLY LAST?

Newborn sessions can last 2+ hours. We spend about an hour doing family portraits and an hour taking portraits of the baby alone. Since babies are so unpredictable, there are normally lots of breaks for diaper changes, feedings, and cuddles!

There are a lot of things that you can do to prepare for a newborn session to make sure that it runs smoothly and is as stress free as possible.
