Kayla and Chad were my first wedding for the 2021 wedding season! They kicked it off with a bang at the Manor Golf and Country Club in Milton, GA, just north of Atlanta. During the week leading up to the wedding, it looked like it was going to rain for the whole wedding day, but it ended up being a beautiful day, though a bit breezy! Chad and Kayla were surrounded by so many family and friends and you could tell that they adore one another.
They met in college at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega back in 2014, with the help of Kayla’s Maid of Honor Rachel. They started dating almost immediately. Having that first year in Dahlonega together was so important because Chad graduated from UNG in May of 2015 and moved down to Atlanta for law school. When Kayla graduated from UNG and Chad from law school several years later, they were finally able to be together again in Atlanta! He proposed on February 29th, 2020 and they were able to have an amazing celebration with all of their closest friends right before Covid happened.

We both agree that entering the reception hall together as husband and wife and seeing all the people we love in one place was amazing, and then of course going straight into our first dance and having a few minutes just to enjoy each other and take it all in was the best!”
Kayla’s late grandfather’s wedding band and Chad’s baby bonnet were both incorporated into the bride’s wedding bouquet for a sweet personal touch
