Caleb and Gabby officially met at Eddie’s Attic one night hearing a friend play, but it was during their first date over tacos that they both pretty much knew they wanted to marry each other. These two are the absolute sweetest! Not only was their love for one another very evident on their wedding day, but also their devotion to their faith. They had such a beautiful Christ-centered ceremony, with communion and prayer under a hand-made cross. There is no better way to start a marriage than that! Their family and friends also played very special roles during the ceremony, confirming and supporting their lifelong commitment to one another and to God. Caleb’s father walked them through communion, and then prayed for them as they began their journey as husband and wife.
Here is a sweet note from the Bride and Groom:
We would like to send our love to Tim and LeaAnn Taylor, Shawn Springston, and our family. We asked Tim, who was Caleb’s youth pastor, to marry us, and he did a great job with the ceremony. We are so grateful for his prayers and counsel as we made the journey to the altar, and are happy he could share that moment with us. LeaAnn, his wife, made our delicious cakes and helped decorate the venue. She was a HUGE help, and we could not have done any of it without her. Caleb and I would also like to give a hug and express a BIG thank you to Shawn Springston, who built the cross for our altar at The Engine Room. He did an amazing job, and it was a beautiful symbol of our faith for our Sunday wedding. Last but not least, the biggest thank you of all, to our wonderful families, who encouraged us, loved us, and prayed for us throughout the year before our special day. We love you all so much!
Gabby carried her grandmother’s handkerchief down the aisle. It was extra special because her grandmother also carried it down the aisle at her own wedding!
