I have known Sarah since college. She is so sweet and I am so happy that her and Wesley found each other! It really was inevitable that they ended up together! It all started way back on Friday the 13th in October of 2006 when Sarah and Wesley first met. The unluckiest of all days turned into the luckiest for these two.
At the time, Sarah’s homeroom teacher thought that she would be the perfect match for her son Tyler’s best buddy Wesley. After an awkward introduction Wesley was smitten, but too bad Sarah had a boyfriend! The next year they shockingly ran into each other again at our sorority costume ball, not knowing that he was one of her friend’s brothers! What a small world! A year after that they finally ended up talking and becoming friends, and the rest is history!
They had their wedding at Liberty United Methodist Church in Macon, GA. There were so many sweet details included in their classic wedding day. During the ceremony Wesley and Sarah put together a unity cross that was built by Wesley and his uncle Neil. Her bouquet had a piece of her mom’s wedding dress on it along with her grandmother’s locket that had a picture of her grandfather in it. She also wore her grandmother’s wedding ring on her right hand.
Sarah and Wesley’s favorite memory from their wedding day was seeing each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle. They wanted to keep with tradition and not see each other before the wedding. It turned out to be such a special moment that they will always remember.
Now enough chatting and let’s get on with the pictures! Make sure to check out all of the vendors at the end of the post.
