I was so blessed to be hand-picked as one of the photographers for the 8th NotWedding in Atlanta. It was held at the W Hotel in Buckhead. The NotWedding is a bridal show in the form of a big fake wedding. Being a wedding photographer is such a blast, especially when you are surrounded by other amazing creatives. All of the vendors that helped pull this Gatsby styled wedding bash together were all amazing. Make sure to read about each vendor and visit their websites.
Hayley Bidez was the amazing make-up artist for the NotWedding. You may remember her “freshly awoken” work from the Breakfast in Bed styled shoot. Well she really got to show off what she can do at the NotWedding. The girls all looked stunning!
Collette Eubanks rocked the hair for the girls. Jamie, the NotWedding bride, was given a very 20’s hairstyle to go with the Gatsby inspired dress. I was very impressed with how well Collette pulled the hair together to go perfectly with the feel of the day!
Mia Maria Design created these invitations and the programs for the NotWedding. They did a fabulous job!
Jenkins Rose also created a beautiful invitation suite along with the menu cards for the evening. She also does beautiful calligraphy.
Holland Daze created the beautiful bouquets. I love how they painted some leaves gold to go with all of the decadent gold/glittery accents that were seen throughout the wedding.
The ladies from Adore Bridal Boutique, located in downtown Kennesaw, were such a delight to work with. This mother daughter duo makes you feel like one of the family! They provided a stunning Theia Couture gown for Jamie to wear. It was a fully beaded, Gatsby inspired gown, that had a beautiful tulle skirt that could be added over top. It was beautiful to photograph!
Incer Studios were so great to work with. They are a husband and wife cinemetography team. They are so nice and good at what they do! I wish that I had hired someone to do video at my own wedding three years ago. If you are on the fence about it… Do it!
Here is sweet Kelley Raye, one of the other photographers from the day!
Here are some shots of Melissa Prosser and her assistant doing what they do best. Another great photographer that was there capturing the NotWedding! I love the hairpiece that Chaos Couture created for Jamie to wear!
I am in love with this shot of Jamie and her bouquet made by Holland Daze!
Could they be any cuter? Eric and Jamie were a dream to work with. They were so friendly and absolutely still head over heels in love after over a year of marriage!
Liddabits created some of the cutest signs and props for the NotWedding. We made sure to include them in the pictures with the bridal party. What a fun prop for your wedding day! She makes all sorts of signs and garlands. She even made the sign for my booth!
Is it just me or does Eric look like James Bond?!? Such a looker in his tux from The Modern Gent!
The jewelry was provided by Jeff McLaurin Designs. They had some stunning pieces that were worn by the bride and bridesmaids. I love the rings! Such a gorgeous dress from Adore!
Seriously cute paper props from Liddabits. This is one of her new banners!
Another picture of Kelley Raye photographing the bridal party. I love this silhouette of Jamie sitting in the W Hotel lobby and waiting for more portraits.
Here is the woman that helped the day run so smoothly! I had the pleasure of working with Melissa from Pretty Swell Parties during our styled shoot, and she was the day-of event coordinator for the wedding. She did a great job directing and making sure that everything ran very smoothly.
I adore the custom jewelry from Jeff McLaurin Designs. Here are some unclose photographs of what the girls got to wear!
Bloomin Bouquets did the floral table design on several of the tables at the reception. I loved the milk glass and the way that they incorporated fresh fruit into their designs. And the rosemary sprigs were such a cute detail! Holland Daze not only designed the bouquets, but also designed some of the tables. How beautiful are these tablescapes! Miss Milly’s Vintage Rentals did a great job designing some of the tables with some of their unique finds.Molly McKinley Designs and Lindsay Coletta Floral Artistry + Design collaborated on the beautiful head table design. I loved the green glittered table cloth and all of the deep pink flowers. They did such an amazing job.
Liddabits made these cute signs for the head table! Here are one of my favorite treats from the NotWedding. These Marshmallow Confections were created by Malvi and are oh-so delicious. They are marshmallows placed between yummy shortbread cookies, in all sorts of creative flavors. My favorite was the chocolate! They are just too adorable. Wouldn’t they make great favors for your guest or a creative alternative for a wedding or groom’s cake? What a beautiful cake created by Peche Petite Boutique Bakery.
And here are the DELICIOUS cupcakes made by Delights by Dawn. The cupcakes are infused with delicious flavors. My favorite was the White Almond Amaretto. Molly McKinley Designs and Lindsay Coletta Floral Artistry + Design also collaborated on the ceremony backdrop and florals. It was a beautiful backdrop for the vow renewal of Jamie and Eric. Seriously order some of these Marshmallow Confections from Malvi!
Kate Aspen had these adorable gold frames as favors for all of the guest. Check out all of their favors on their website! If you have thought about having a photo booth at your wedding, you should seriously consider Shutterbooth. They were so awesome and you get a picture printed right there to take home! The founder of the NotWedding, Callie Murray, introduced the event and shared her heart on marriage! At the end of the wedding ceremony/vow renewal, there was a surprise engagement! The bridal party did a flash mob and then surprised one of the bridesmaids with the most precious proposal from her boyfriend, who was also a groomsmen. I am pretty sure that there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! Congratulations Gina and Edward! Sun in My Belly provided a scrumptious buffet for the reception. The brussels sprouts just melted in my mouth, so good! Ok, let’s talk about the best part of the whole night… the Macaroni Bar provided by the W Hotel caterers. They cooked you your very own custom macaroni dish, right there in front of your eyes. I added roasted red peppers, bread crumbs, and pepper jack cheese to mine… and it was DELICIOUS!DJ Josh Whitlock was such a great DJ and Emcee. The dance floor was always full!
